    Votes Results on Peru FTA---

    Call to Thank or Spank!*

On Thursday, November 8th, the House of Representatives passed the anti-animal Peru Free Trade Agreement (Peru FTA).

Call your Congressmember in the US House of Representatives to let her know what you think of her vote on the Peru FTA!

If your representative voted AGAINST the Peru Free Trade Agreement, call to express your appreciation. Let her know that animal advocates oppose trade agreements that expand factory farming and endanger Amazon rainforest wildlife habitat, and you appreciate her taking a state against such destructive agreements.

If your representative voted FOR the Peru Free Trade Agreement, call to express your outrage and disappointment. Let her know that this agreement will cause increased animal suffering as factory farms expand and the rate of Amazon rainforest destruction increases.

Visit http://snipurl.com/Leglookup to find out who represents you and for your Rep's phone number.. When you call, ask to speak to your rep's legislative assistant on trade.

(* We oppose spanking-- of children. Congressional reps who sell out animals and the environment to factory farmers and rainforest polluters are another matter entirely. )

FINAL VOTE RESULTS FOR ROLL CALL 1060
