  • Oman Free Trade Agreement

On Thursday, July 20th, 2006 the House of Representatives followed the Senate in voting for the U.S.-Oman Free Trade Agreement (OFTA). This agreement will endganger wildlife and their habitat and many increase factory farmed meat exports. Oman is a small Middle Eastern sultanate and the OFTA is seen as a stepping stone to a regional Middle East Free Trade Agreement (MEFTA).
